For his final event in NY this year, Firungi and the team return to one of the most unique new venues in the city - Cafe Balearica's new project, Two Doors Down .

Joining Firungi on the decks, we have Senai back in the fold after a fantastic showing at the October F&F event and a special set by the co-founder of RAW CUTS , EREZ.JPG.

After a successful showing in August, Firungi & Friends returns to JuneShine on Saturday 10/14 for a global house and club music showcase like none other. Joining Firungi on the decks, we have returning artist Mirran to set the vibe, followed by the ever-so versatile Senai dropping Baile funk and beyond.

For our main guest of the night and fresh off a wild Boiler Room, New York’s staple amapiano artist herself AQ will be taking over for a hard hitting hour of the freshest sounds from South Africa and beyond.

Rounding off the night, Firungi will be performing a unique 2 hour set.

Firungi is a Brooklyn-based DJ, artist, and producer from Seattle, with roots in London, Mumbai and LA. The Firungi events are an eclectic blend of house and club sounds from all around the world.

Joining him on the decks is another Seattle native DJ Houseplants, as well as Areublue and Erica Tedd.

Co-founder of Raw Cuts Shantymane and up-and-coming Mirran will be setting the earlier vibes for the evening.

Firungi was the final performer at the outdoor stage, and closed out with a multi-genre showcase of Indian-inspired drum n’bass, garage, house and hip-hop… a majority of which were his own original tracks.

In the biggest surprise of the night, Firungi was joined onstage by the founder of Indo Warehouse and lauded South Asian artist Kahani in a back-to-back live set.

Flying in from the west, we have Can’t Bump Collective making their NYC debut, accompanied by Firungi himself and the NYC Garage pioneer that is Swami Sound. Tieing the night up, the very technical and talented Dwells will take to the decks. Some truly amazing performers on the lineup - this will be a night to remember.

FIRUNGI FUNK 004 is the fourth installment in a series of events by the artist Firungi, featuring an energetic range of global dance music spanning many different genres and cultures. We’re super excited to have Funk 004 at Cherry - Kremwerk’s dark, loud and intimate new room.

Funk 004 will be accompanied by returning Firungi Funk 001 performer Lando, serving up the deep and high-octane house and techno vibes - as he does best.

Two sets from Firungi - opening the night with all out eclecticism, following up later with breakneck ethnic energy.

And for our headliner, we are thrilled to welcome DJ Houseplants into the Firungi Funk family - a Seattle and lo-fi house legend who is certainly no stranger to global club music experimentation.

FIRUNGI FUNK 003 is the third installment in a series of live events by the artist Firungi that will feature an energetic range of global dance music, spanning across many genres and cultures.

Funk 003 will be the most experimental show to date. A polarizing lighting and visual performance, combined with high energy sonics that capture a massive range of genres.

FF003 will be accompanied by returning Firungi Funk 001 performer DJ KATANA serving up the best in afrobeats, amapiano, and hip-hop from around the world.

In addition, Fifty Fifty will be spinning the heaters from the global tech house scene while two studs from the Vue family, DJ Breezy and Lowkai, will be going B2B to close out the night with style and purpose.

FIRUNGI FUNK 002: A FAMILY AFFAIR is the second installment in a series of live events by the artist Firungi (@iamfirungi) that will feature an energetic range of global dance music, spanning across many genres and cultures.

The Mountaineering Club is a beautiful and historic rooftop bar that has always taken an interest in showcasing eclectic music and artists. As longtime patrons of the club, we are very honored to work with them on this event.

For this show, Firungi will be joined alongside a Seattle South Asian Underground pioneer and his father, DJ Anup - along with a few other surprises.

As always, a multitude of genres will be played. Come to dance. Come to experience.

"FIRUNGI FUNK 001" is the beginning of a club series in Seattle that will feature an energetic range of global dance music, spanning across many genres and cultures.

The #FirungiFunk series serves as a platform to all artists, local and beyond, willing to take risks and experiment with their crafts to help bring a historically-progressive musical city back into its glory days.

Firungi (@iamfirungi) is a recording artist and DJ from Seattle, by way of Los Angeles, London and Mumbai. His recent song "Time Stops" has amassed over 60k plays since its release in late August, with several more singles and collaborations slated for release later this year.

FF001 will be accompanied by two additional DJs , Mo Hassen (@mohammedhassen_95) and Lando (@landomusic_). Mo will be serving up soulful r&b, dancehall and house vibes in the early evening, while Lando plans to bring the intensity with a tech-house and global house dominated set. Firungi will be performing two individual sets, incorporating a vast amount of different genres across many cultures.
